Indiana Hunters Armed with Automated CheckIN Game Suite for Deer and Fall Turkey Season

Indiana hunters now have the ability to report their deer and fall turkey harvest using a computer, smart phone, or tablet that has Internet access without having to take the deer or turkey to a check station for physical inspection. The online service ([ http://www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/7365.htm ]) utilizes responsive design architecture that allows the application to render dynamically based on the useras screen resolution. This allows the site to be easily viewed using a wide variety of smart phones and handheld devices.

Hunters checking their deer or turkey using a computer, smart phone, or tablet simply need to write the [ CheckIN Game ] confirmation number on the temporary transportation tag of the harvested deer or turkey. An enhancement has also been specifically created for law enforcement to allow them to enter the confirmation number of the harvest to check the validity of the harvested game.
