Brocade Demonstrates OpenFlow, in Support of SDN, at Open Networking Summit 2012

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 16, 2012) -

WHAT:
Brocade is demonstrating two OpenFlow-enabled routers: the Brocade MLXe, a modular system supporting up to 256 10 GbE and 32 100 GbE wire-speed ports, and the Brocade CER, a fixed form-factor router.

WHY:
The objective of the demonstration is to show that powerful network virtualization applications can be supported with appropriate OpenFlow-enabled routers. Network virtualization enables seamless control of network resources regardless of location. The demonstration uses an open source OpenFlow controller.

AUDIENCE:
Those interested in seeing OpenFlow technology in action, first hand.

WHEN:
Monday, April 16 - Wednesday, April 18, 2012
The demonstration is open to all attendees from 12:00 p.m - 2p.m. PT
