Prior to joining Perfect World Entertainment, Young ran the publishing and revenue design functions for Gazillion Entertainment, publisher of games such as Marvel Super Hero Squad. He built the platform to launch Gazillion games, designed the revenue models and design systems for microtransaction games, and led platform engineering, website creation, administrative tools, customer service, billing, anti-fraud, safety, community, data analytics, and publishing production for Gazillionas online games.
Prior to Gazillion, Young launched and operated an online game for early "free to play" game pioneer gPotato (Gala-Net). He was the first business development executive at Massive Incorporated, signing publishers in complex deals and eventually running BD for North America and Asia for Massive's unique in-game advertising network.
Young has also held positions as a Financial Analyst for Electronic Arts, as a Venture Capitalist with Easton Hunt Capital Partners, and as a acreativea with J. Walter Thompson building the first web presences for large multinationals in the late 1990s. He is founder and CEO of Peerbetween, the aLinkedIn for personality.a He earned his MBA from Columbia Business School and his B.A. Honors in Communications from Queen's University in Canada.
