CyrusOne Completes Acquisition of 175,000 Square Foot Building in West Houston

HOUSTON--([ ])--CyrusOne, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB) and preeminent enterprise data center colocation solutions provider, has purchased its 175,000-square-foot Houston West site, which includes the LEED Silver certified building it currently occupies and CyrusOneas new data center that is under construction and adjacent to the existing facility.

Upon closing this deal, CyrusOne becomes the only data center facilities provider in Houston that directly owns the structure and land on which its data centers are located. When construction of the new facility is complete, the two data centers at the Houston West site will offer a combined 175,000 square feet of space, 36 megawatts of power, and connectivity that links to CyrusOneas other Houston data center located in the Galleria area.

Strategically, CyrusOne plans to purchase more land as it pursues its growth initiatives and has invested over $100 million of capital over the past twelve months. In addition to the Houston purchase, CyrusOne also purchased 60 acres of land in Phoenix, 116 acres of land in Lebanon, Ohio and is looking for further opportunities to expand in other parts of the country.

CyrusOne worked with Panattoni Development Company, the developer and owner of the project.
