Common issues that slow down PC start times typically include having too many applications on the "Start" menu, a fragmented registry, or infections and viruses. After installation on a PC, many applications auto-register themselves into the Start menu, which over time increases a PC's Windows® start time.
Upon installation, RapidStart calculates the time it takes to start each process, and provides users with an optimization report that analyzes each startup item and classifies it into removable and non-removable categories based on relevance and impact on the computer's performance (for example, "iTunes® helper" is not required at start, but "explorer.exe" is).
