In his presentation, Haile will explore the challenges of virtualized data protection, discuss important considerations for planning a data protection environment, and illustrate how file management technology is key to enabling intelligent tiered storage in virtual environments.
Haile joined Quantum in June 2011 through its acquisition of Pancetera Software, where he was a co-founder and served as CTO and vice president of Product Management. Since that acquisition, Quantum has moved quickly to incorporate Pancetera's technology into its product portfolio. Most recently, the company introduced the [ vmPRO 4000 ], combining virtual machine protection, deduplication and replication in a simple, turnkey solution.
