Interxion Expands Vienna Data Centre

VIENNA--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ INTERXION ] HOLDING NV (NYSE:INXN), a leading European provider of [ carrier-neutral colocation ][ data centre services ], today announced the expansion of its [ Vienna data centre ]. The expansion, which will increase equipped space by approximately 1,300 sqm, is being driven by the growing demand for colocation space and services, in particular from cloud-based service providers and the enterprise sector. As part of the expansion project, Interxion is also adding capacity to its power and cooling infrastructure. The first phase of the data centre expansion is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2011.

Interxiona™s Vienna site offers a wide range of high density power configurations and connectivity solutions, including access to over 90 carriers and the Vienna Internet Exchange (VIX). This allows Interxion to meet the wide range of services and connectivity choices its customers demand, including high-availability infrastructure, seamless connectivity and optimum network latency.

The data centre is one of Interxiona™s 13 Cloud Hubs across Europe that provides organisations with the optimum environment for the cost-effective development, launch and management of successful cloud-based services.
