It took effect last 1 March 2025. The government has appointed Jermaine Loy, as a new member of the Board of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), effective 1 March. Loy is currently the managing director-designate of the Economic Development Board.
The Singapore government has appointed Professor Liu Bin as a new board member of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). Liu, who is currently the Executive Director of the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), brings extensive experience in materials science and engineering. His appointment aims to bolster A*STAR's efforts in advancing research and development in Singapore, focusing on innovation in materials technology.
