Crossroads Names Chief Technologist and VP of Marketing

New Executives Set to Help Drive StrongBox LTFS NAS Solution Growth

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - Aug 29, 2012) - Crossroads Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ CRDS ]), a global provider of data protection solutions, today named two new appointments to its management team.

The new positions are designed to help harness the full market potential of Crossroads' new StrongBox product, the first-ever enterprise-class NAS archive solution that leverages the Linear Tape File System (LTFS) as its volume storage medium.

Paul Leury joined Crossroads as Chief Technologist, leading the company's customer interface for technology and solution architecture for the StrongBox solution. A successful entrepreneur, Leury brings more than 20 years of experience in designing IT solutions, offering seasoned expertise for architecting disruptive technology, such as StrongBox. By understanding market needs, he provides the critical interface between customer demands and our development team to ensure the delivery of an effective solution into the market. Prior to Crossroads, Paul provided consulting services for a broad range of technology solutions and led product development as CTO and co-founder of Austin Provider Solutions, which was acquired by Altegra Health.

Additionally, Steve Enyeart was named vice president of marketing. With more than 22 years of strategic planning and tactical implementation of marketing initiatives, Enyeart delivers creative brand vision to launch StrongBox into new markets. Previously, he led creative marketing efforts at four firms, responsible for strategic planning and tactical implementation to drive brands from a small market presence to widespread recognition. Enyeart drove the Coors Light Silver Bullet branding into the U.S. and 15 international markets, substantiating the brand as a major player in the competitive beverage category.

"I welcome both Paul and Steve to the Crossroads team, as they play vital roles that will help propel StrongBox growth," said Rob Sims, President and CEO at Crossroads Systems. "With an emphasis on innovation as well as going to market, these two executives bring significant expertise as we continue to greatly expand StrongBox's worldwide reach."
