Softchoice Named to UBM Channel's Solution Provider 500 List

Annual List Ranks North America's Top 500 Technology Integrators

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 8, 2012) - Softchoice (TSX:SO), a North American Solutions and Services company, today announced it has been recognized by UBM Channel as a part of CRN's 2012 Solution Provider 500 list. The list ranks the top technology integrators from across North America. Formerly known as the "VAR 500", the Solution Provider 500 ranks the highest producing solution provider organizations in the IT channel from hardware sales, software sales, and managed IT services. Softchoice earned the 35th spot on the annual ranking.

"At a time of rapid change and growing complexity, this recognition reflects the value our people provide in helping customers advance their business and IT goals," said David MacDonald, President and CEO of Softchoice. "When I look at our team, at our managed services and cloud offering, and the expertise we're delivering around the design and implementation of advanced technologies, I don't think we've ever been better positioned to help organizations enhance their competitive advantage than we are today."

The Solution Provider 500 ranking is based on revenue size, and considers each company's forward-thinking approach to the channel. Over the past year Softchoice strengthened its services capabilities with the purchase of UNIS LUMIN, a premier Cisco networking provider, while increasing its reach within the small and medium-size business segment with the expansion of its Telesales Division. The Company also recently announced a new Managed Services offering and is set launch North America's first truly holistic cloud brokerage services offering later this summer.

"The organizations listed in this year's Solution Provider 500 list are today's true integration innovators who generate high revenues by putting their customers' needs first," said Kelley Damore, Vice President and Editorial Director at UBM Channel. "We congratulate Softchoice for making this year's list and look forward to covering their continued success."
