Ranger Gold Corp. Completes First Phase of Summer Drilling Programs
CARSON CITY, NV--(Marketwire - May 20, 2010) - Ranger Gold Corp. (
"We have completed sampling and mapping on both the CX and Truman properties," says Gary Basrai, President of Ranger. "Results are positive and support our previously identified drill targets. We are now moving forward with our exploration plans and will be applying for a drill permit shortly. We have also engaged a contractor so that we can commence drilling in as timely a manner as possible."
The CX Property consists of 72 unpatented mineral claims covering six epithermal gold-silver targets within a caldera margin that hosts at least two other major gold-silver mines including the prolific Round Mountain Mine. The Truman Property consists of 52 unpatented mineral claims and covers eight epithermal gold-silver targets near the center of the historic Walker Lane trend.
Ranger has the right to earn a 100% interest in both properties by making certain annual option payments and by accruing minimum exploration expenditures.
"We believe the potential for the CX and Truman Properties is significant, and we are very excited about drilling in 2010," says Gary Basrai, President of Ranger.
