Norfolk State University broke ground on a new $60 million student wellness center on April 12, 2023, aimed at enhancing student health and wellness. The 76,000-square-foot facility, expected to be completed by fall 2024, will feature a fitness center, gymnasium, indoor track, and spaces for mental health services, nutrition education, and health promotion.
