The Democrats are worried that this familial connection could compromise the integrity of NASA's decision-making processes, especially given the agency's involvement in approving and overseeing such missions. They have called for an investigation to ensure that no undue influence or favoritism is at play, highlighting the need for transparency and ethical conduct in government operations.
