Softchoice Opens New Network Operations Center

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 26, 2012) - Softchoice Corporation (TSX:SO) proudly announces the opening of its new Network Operations Center (NOC). Located in Oakville Ontario, the new, larger facility marks the first in a series of planned upgrades to support the growth of the Company's Managed Services and Cloud offerings.

"This is an exciting day for Softchoice and our team of engineers, analysts and technical support staff who manage some 250 customer networks and more than 23,000 devices globally," said David MacDonald, President and CEO of Softchoice. "Our new facility and the systems upgrades we're making will provide the foundation as we continue to scale our Managed Services and Cloud Offerings across North America."

Earlier this year, Softchoice announced the launch of Keystone Essentials, the Company's first North American-wide Managed Services offering. Through proactive network monitoring and live, 24/7 technical support, Keystone Essentials helps organizations improve network uptime while freeing internal resources to focus on other strategic areas of IT. The new NOC is also an integral part of Softchoice's Cloud Portal. As North America's first truly comprehensive cloud delivery platform, Softchoice's Cloud Portal makes it simple to acquire and deploy the latest Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, manage and monitor usage and gain access to live 24/7 help desk support. Softchoice is the only company of its kind to offer customers a single point of contact to resolve technical issues across multiple SaaS vendors.

"Our focus on Managed Services is all about helping organizations strike a better balance between sustaining the operations of their current environment and taking advantage of new innovation to enhance business performance," added Mr. MacDonald. "That's core to the value of Keystone Essentials and to providing our customers with secure, reliable and hassle-free access to the cloud."
