Procera Awarded $3 Million Follow-On Order by Tier-1 North American MSO

Report Studio Network Analytics Driving Business Decisions

FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - May 29, 2012) - [ Procera Networks ], Inc. (NASDAQ: [ PKT ]), the intelligent policy enforcement company, today announced it has received a $3 million follow-on order from a leading North American Cable MSO for continued geographic expansion of the MSO's PacketLogic™ deployment. Procera will recognize about half of the order as revenue in the second quarter of 2012.

"This follow-on order reflects Procera's continuing success in the MSO market in North America," said David Ahee, Vice President of Sales Americas at Procera. "Our customers continue to leverage the analytics capabilities of Report Studio and the enforcement capabilities of our products to ensure that a high Quality of Experience is delivered to customers, especially for streaming traffic."

Cable operators are continuing to see a growth in their traffic. Consumers today have more devices than ever before, and multiple devices are active on the network, often streaming video simultaneously. MSOs need to understand the types of devices that are streaming, the rates that these devices are streaming, and the quality that is being delivered to the end users.

PacketLogic Report Studio, which is provided as part of the PacketLogic Intelligence Center, allows network operators to drill down into their network and achieve detailed understanding of subscriber, device, application, and location-based analytics. PacketLogic Report Studio delivers print-ready analytics reports that can include executive overviews, detailed technical analysis, and even the performance of different content delivery networks, which enables the operators to dramatically increase subscriber Quality of Experience.
