About the Lawsuit
Powerwave and certain of its senior executives are charged with issuing a series of materially false and misleading statements, during the Class Period, in violation of federal securities laws.
On October 18, 2011, Powerwave reported results that were well below estimates previously sponsored and/or endorsed by the Company, and revealed that it was performing poorly and running through its available funds at an expedited rate. In response to these announcements, the following day, shares of the Company collapsed -- falling over 42%, on extremely heavy trading volume.
