Dynasil Corporation of America Elects John Millerick to Board of Directors

WATERTOWN, Mass.--([ ])--Dynasil Corporation of America (NASDAQ: DYSL), a leader in the development and manufacture of detection, sensing and analysis technology, today announced that John Millerick was elected to the Board of Directors at the Companyas Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

Millerick, 63, is a senior global financial executive with 25 years of experience in the technology industry. As senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Analogic Corporation from 2000 to 2009, he had worldwide responsibility for the companyas finance functions as well as treasury, tax, information systems and human resources. During his tenure he led due diligence of acquisition candidates, spearheaded the completion of two acquisitions and two strategic divestitures and informed the board on governance practices.

Millerick previously worked for CalComp Technology, serving as senior vice president and CFO from 1996 to 1999 and as acting president and CEO in 1997. He was vice president-finance of the Personal Computer Unit of Digital Equipment Corporation from 1994 to 1995 and also served in several management positions at Wang Laboratories, including vice president-corporate controller and acting CFO. Millerick, a certified public accountant, began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Boston. He earned his MBA from the Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and a B.A. in Mathematics from Holy Cross.

Millerick and Sulick were among a slate of eight directors elected at Wednesdayas Annual Meeting. Also elected to one-year terms were current board members Craig Dunham, Lawrence Fox, Harvey Goldberg, Michael Joyner, M.D., David Kronfeld and Dynasil President and Chief Executive Officer Steven Ruggieri.
