01 Communique Provides Update on Patent Litigation against LogMeIn
TORONTO, April 1 /CNW/ - 01 Communique (TSX: ONE) today provided an update on its patent litigation against LogMeIn Inc. (NSDQ: LOGM).
A Court Hearing in regards to LogMeIn's summary judgment motion for non-infringement was held today. The Judge in the case, Judge Hilton, ruled from the bench granting their motion for summary judgment and removing the case from the court's trial calendar. An Order providing his reasons is expected in the next few weeks.
The Company remains confident in the merits of its case and plans to appeal the decision to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit once the Order is received. The Company will be consulting with its legal advisors and will provide a corporate update on the matter after the Order has been received and reviewed.
