Zoo Entertainment Announces the iPad Release of Fractal under Its indiePub Label

CINCINNATI--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Zoo Entertainment, Inc (NASDAQ CM: ZOOG), a leading developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software, today announced plans for its indiePub division to release Fractal for the iPad. Following the debut of the critically lauded music puzzler Auditorium, Fractal is the second collaboration between [ indiePub ], a community of independent video game developers, and Cipher Prime Studios.

Fractal is a rich environment that lives and breathes with the player. Amazingly intuitive but still complex, players cluster and chain their way through a pulsing technicolor dreamscape that includes more than 30 varying levels and 60 challenging puzzles. Players arrange fractals, defined as a rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be split into parts, by pushing them into larger clusters that will bloom, exploding outward. Clusters of any size are possible, chain reactions can go on indefinitely and power-ups allow the player to clear an entire board in an instant. Three different modes of play a" Campaign, Puzzle, and Arcade a" create varied problems and emphasize different aspects of gameplay.

Everything in Fractal, from the vibrancy of the colors to the audio tone, is linked to overall experience. Cipher Primea™s new MusicBox audio engine ebbs and flows with the pace of gameplay. More than just a puzzle game, Fractal is a sentient world that fails and prospers alongside the player.
