MELBOURNE, Fla.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--AuthenTec (NASDAQ:AUTH), the world's leading provider of smart fingerprint sensors and solutions, announced today that it is raising revenue guidance for the fourth quarter of 2009 from a range of between $7.5 million and $8.0 million, provided on November 4, 2009, to a new range of between $8.2 million and $8.4 million. The increase in revenue guidance is the result of stronger than expected sales to PC customers in the quarter.
AuthenTec will host a conference call to discuss its final fourth quarter 2009 financial results in mid February 2010.
