Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State expressed his gratitude for the approval, highlighting the project's potential to boost the local economy, create jobs, and reduce conflicts over land resources. The project is part of a broader effort to transform Nigeria's livestock sector, making it more sustainable and economically viable.
