VDC Display Systems and Scalable Display Partner on Systems for the Military Simulation Market

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--VDC Display Systems, a division of Video Display Corporation (NASDAQ:VIDE), industry leader in display solutions for military, medical and industrial training and simulation applications and Scalable Display Technologies, a leader in auto-calibration for multi-projector displays are pleased to announce their collaboration on projects for the military simulation market.

VDC Display Systems will be using Scalable's EasyBlend FX edge-blending software as the auto-calibration solution in a new visual system for a training simulator currently in development for the US military. VDC Display Systems incorporates ultra high resolution projectors and a high performance screen, using a unique and novel approach for edge blend and correct geometry for the spherical display. Scalable's advanced technology will support VDC's goal of achieving close to real world environments for the trainees.
