Equinox plans to open 33 hotels over the next decade, at least half of which would be in the US
including Texas, California, and Hawaii.
Equinox, known for its high-end fitness centers, is expanding into the luxury hotel market with its first location in Hudson Yards, New York City, and plans for another in Los Angeles. These hotels are designed to cater to health-conscious travelers, featuring amenities like expansive gyms, spa treatments, and even supplement mini-bars in rooms. The Hudson Yards location includes a 60,000-square-foot fitness center, a spa, and a juice bar, with rooms starting at $800 per night. The design and services aim to integrate wellness into every aspect of the guest experience, from the moment they check in. Equinox's approach combines luxury accommodations with a focus on fitness, offering guests personalized wellness programs, high-tech fitness equipment, and recovery-focused amenities like cryotherapy and hyperbaric chambers.
