Muskegon Basketball Showcase returns with loaded in-state lineup

The Muskegon Area Sports Hall of Fame Roundball Classic, a high school basketball showcase, is set to return on March 23, 2025, at Reeths-Puffer High School. This event, which has been a staple since 1989, will feature a lineup of Michigan's top high school basketball teams, including defending state champions and teams with notable rankings. The showcase will include games like Muskegon vs. Orchard Lake St. Mary's, a rematch of a previous year's state semifinal, and matchups involving teams like Detroit Cass Tech, Grand Rapids Catholic Central, and North Farmington. The event not only highlights competitive basketball but also serves as a significant community gathering, with tickets available for $10 in advance or $12 at the door, and all proceeds benefiting the Muskegon Area Sports Hall of Fame.
